VS Arashi 2017.10.12 - Narratage Team

VS Arashi is finally back!!!! YES!!!! I had completely forgotten that it was back yesterday (I'm so bad at remembering things, I thought it was going to start next week *smh*) but I'm so happy because I was surprised and absolutely delighted to find out a new episode was waiting. And what's more, this episode was against the Narratage Team, which meant that team Arashi had to fight Jun and his team this time around. I love it when a member comes with his own team, it makes things more interesting, don't you agree?
This episode was an absolute BLAST! I laughed a lot (and I fangirled even more,) If I have time, I want to try and translate more than just this part, but for now please enjoy today's IntroTalk!

I don't find Nino and his stupid face attractive here, nope.
 

S: Well, you know, I thought it's amazing... the audience members... the fans have a very sharp intuition, don't they? For example even now, there's only four of us so there's an air of "eh? eh?". This situation is still easy to understand but you know, how to say, when they play a song on a program, there are times when that song isn't played yet, right?

N: Sometimes, right?

I love Sho's face in this entire episode, but when I saw the Endless Game part I laughed so hard

S: First of all, Matsumoto-san, the movie "Narratage", what kind of movie is it? 

J: A fairly intense love story.

S: A love story? 

J: Yes. 

S: Between which people is there a love story? 

J: Here [points at himself and Arimura] and here [points at Arimura and Sakaguchi]

S: Ah, also between them? 

J: Between these three.

J: It's a different kind of love story from the ones that I was allowed to do until now. I guess it's very different from the love stories done in recent years. 

S: Apparently it's been 3 years and 9 months since the last time Matsumoto-san appeared as a guest. During those times, the Arashi team has won twice and lost three times in total.
Does that mean that with these four people we can't win? 
If we win today, it will be a draw? 
J: That's right.
S: Let's definitely win!

Their outfit is absolutely hideous though xD

Sh: ? (he's saying something about coming like that but I'm not sure what)
A: Watching from the back you'd think a comic duo has appeared.
Sh: That's not it! It's because we're Johnny's. It's idol-like. 
So: We dressed like this to get into a fighting spirit.
S: [nodding knowingly] If you're talking about Matsumoto's style it looks like that, right? [tn: wow did nino teach sho how to be a lil shit™ too? amazing.]
J: Wait a second! I don't get to that point. 
Sh: Right.
J: I don't have them, those pants. 
Sh: I thought, Jun-kun is not here, so... 


Ahhhh what a great episode! If you have the chance, please watch it!! It's filled with Junba moments, heartbreaking Juntoshi, Sho teasing Jun while pining over Aiba (<-- my fav thing tbh lol), Nino being his usual Lil Shit™ self, the staff messing with Jun, and so much more. This episode has become my favourite hands down!!
I'll try to post the translation for the Matsu-MOTO-Jun Quiz as well because that was hilarious and left me with tears in my eyes, so I'm crossing my fingers for more time *crosses everything*
